Throughout the East Algarve

A region to explore.
A place to make your own.

From Olhão and the Ria Formosa to Tavira, the Guadiana, and the countryside between. We work across the whole East Algarve. Here are three places to begin.

The arches of Tavira’s town hall framing the riverside square

01 / Tavira

Character by
the river.

The Gilão runs through a town of tiled roofs, whitewashed façades, and streets best explored on foot. Beyond the centre, the Ria Formosa and Tavira’s island beaches give life a different pace.

Historic town life, a coastal base, or a home in the surrounding countryside: the right setting depends on how you want to live.

02 / Olhão

Texture, terraces,
and the sea.

Olhão has a character all its own: intricate façades, flat-roofed houses, working waterfronts, and a close relationship with the islands of the Ria Formosa.

Look beyond the postcard. A shaded street, a roof terrace, the walk to the market — small details shape everyday life here.

03 / Vila Real de Santo António

River light.
Open horizons.

Orderly streets open onto elegant squares, with the Guadiana and Spain just beyond the waterfront. Vila Real de Santo António brings a different rhythm to the eastern edge of the Algarve.

Explore the riverside town and the nearby coast, from Monte Gordo to the beaches and pinewoods around the mouth of the river.
